The Author
James Martin is a bookseller by trade and now an author by need. These books in the M.U.T.T. Series represent many years of step by step concept development. As a long time reader of science fiction and fantasy and a roleplayer, his mind filled with ideas that he finally expressed in book format with the M.U.T.T. series. As a former dancer, he enjoys visualizing movement in combat. As a lover of wildlife, he enjoys envisioning species on Androcal. As a member of a society, he finds the various interactions within societies and between them endlessly fascinating.

Catherine Compson makes art in pretty much any medium that doesn't require her to stare at a screen for too long, though her preferred subject matter is more narrow: nature and creatures both real and imagined. She works around books and coffee, and likes to go on hikes and climb on things in her free time. Her love of growing plants may have developed into an addiction during the pandemic. Sanika Mhatre is a high school student whose interests include medicine, classical Indian dance, and of course art. In addition to co-illustrating the M.U.T.T. books, she has authored and illustrated a children’s book, “Reya’s Adventure”. In her free time, Sanika enjoys exploring Houston’s parks with her family.
